Solomon Thomas is on his way to the Tennessee Titans.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Titans traded for Thomas on Wednesday.
”The Cowboys are trading veteran DL Solomon Thomas to the Titans, sources tell The Insiders,” Pelissero said. “It’s a seventh-round pick swap.”
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThomas was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He is approaching his 10th season in the NFL in 2026. The 30-year-old defensive tackle recorded three tackles for loss, as well as two quarterback hits, in his first season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2025.
The trade reunites Thomas with new Titans head coach Robert Saleh. Saleh was San Francisco's defensive coordinator from 2017-20, which were Thomas' first four NFL seasons. The 49ers moved on from Thomas in 2021, and he spent that season with the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2022, Thomas signed with the New York Jets, where Saleh was the head coach.
Thomas spent three seasons with the Jets, and he has played for Saleh in seven of his nine NFL seasons.

Thomas is yet another player that adds to an active offseason of moves for the Titans.
