On page 5A in Thursday’s paper, the story “Swimmers wrap up season” contained incomplete and incorrect information. To clarify, Astoria High School senior Lillian Smith not only improved her times in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle, she also set a school record with her 50-yard freestyle time.
Astoria High School senior Emery Young did make the podium in the 100-yard butterfly, receiving a fourth-place medal. The Astorian regrets the errors.
