Yield Sam SykesTwo young graduate entrepreneurs have today launched a proptech solution firm offering to drive instructions from online visits.

Sam Sykes (pictured) and Tom Heath told The Neg they set up ‘Yield’ because they were disappointed with the lack of response from estate agent websites.

Shared frustration

In the introduction on their own website, the pair say: “Sam and Tom met through a shared frustration: watching estate agents pour money into their websites, only to see 99% of visitors leave without ever becoming clients.

The problem wasn’t traffic — it was silence.”

“The problem wasn’t traffic — it was silence. Visitors browsing at 9pm, comparing options at 2am, ready to enquire on Christmas Day. But no-one there to have the conversation.”

In response to this ‘silence’ and the increasing importance now of AI they say: “So they built Yield — an AI that starts conversations, qualifies buyers, generates leads for valuations, mortgages, conveyancing, and property management — handing agents leads that are already warmed up and ready to talk.”

Thousands of visitors

Heath said estate agents have thousands of visitors to their websites that they know nothing about.

Using AI as a means of capturing information about potential homebuyers, Yield provides agents with a chat transcript after an online visitor has engaged with the software.

Agents will receive 17-18 ’data points’ with exact info on the person who looked at properties on their website.

With 50 clients already signed up, the firm has made a good start, and is offering free trials to other potential agent customers.
